Programs
Clinch River Home Health offers many different programs to allow Anderson, Knox, Roane, Morgan, Campbell, Union, and Scott County residents to stay in their own home as long as possible.
Medicare Home Care Programs
The Medicare Home Care Program covers skilled services ordered by a physician. Our skilled services include nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy. We also have the following ancillary services through this program of medical social worker and certified nursing assistants. Medicare pays for this service as long as you are homebound, remain under the care of a physician and require a skilled service. This service is approximately 43% of our business.
Home Health
The Home Health includes our sliding scale fee for service, and the Options program through the Area Office on Aging. This program mainly consists of personal care service, and some light housekeeping, although we also cover skilled services if the client has no other coverage for this. These programs also require a physician's order to meet the regulations to be licensed as a home care agency in the state of Tennessee. These programs are 46% of our business. These services are funded by the United Way and by our fundraisers.
Respite Programs
We have two Respite Programs. The first is through the Area Office on Aging. This is a matching grant program to provide respite services for 4 hours a week. During this time we can provide personal care, light housekeeping or companionship, whatever the client needs. This is also funded through our fundraising efforts. The second respite program we offer is for our Medicare clients. We allow up to 4 hours per week of respite that is provided to them at no charge. This funded through the United Way. Respite services our approximately 4% of our business.
